I’m back from a long writing hiatus. I took a couple photos in Central Park today. It was really cold; well nigh unto freezing, actually. There’s some small samples after the break. Before that, let me just say that in finally getting on the internet and reading a post that made me want to write again I left my eggs on the boil and they burned leaving my house smelling of burned toenails. Gross.HDR can look good. Just saying.

Yes, the hawk was hunting the squirrels. I almost got a shot of the impending attack, but some lovey dovey couple came tromping through the shot taking pictures of the cutesy squirrels without a clue about the Death from above.
